Philosophy:
The web has provided an amazing new medium for commercial, education, non-profit, and governmental agencies. At Desert Valley Solutions we respect the wide variety of web uses and software needs. Our development philosophy centers on simplicity and functionality, preceded only by customer desires. We do not flaunt gimmicks just for the sake of using the latest technology. Instead we work with our clients to develop the most appropriate solutions to help them accomplish their goals.
Foundation:
Development of MR RaCS -- Media Resource Reservation and Circulation Suite (originally code named DAVE for database of audio and video equipment) – began in fall of 1997. The MR RaCS development team expanded into commercial website design and development services in the 3rd quarter of 1998, and shortly thereafter Desert Valley Solutions was founded. Our first clients were Applied Laser Technology and Jose Mesa Auto Wholesale. As the company grows, new software is emerging based from our own software requirements and strategic alliances.
Software:
The driving force behind Desert Valley Solutions continues to be software. We specialize in database design and client/server applications. MR RaCS is our flag ship product, but stay tuned for the DVS Office Suite, which should be released by the end of the year. We also work with Internet companies to provide client side applications that interface with backend servers as an alternative or supplement to online forms.
Web:
Anybody can develop a web page, but we specialize in working with our clients to provide entire web solutions. From simple “brochure style” websites to complete e-commerce solutions and everything in-between Desert Valley Solutions will work with you through concept, design, development, deployment and management.
